Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Original articles (up to 40 000 characters), reviews (up to 20 000 characters) and translations (in the presence of copyright) are accepted for consideration. Submissions must be provided in Russian.  Texts should be e-mailed to perekrestki@ehu.lt

All article submissions must be accompanied by:

1) Title of the article, summary (up to 250 words), author’s full name and key words (5-7 terms)  - in English.

2) Information about author in Russian (city/country, scientific degree and rank (if available), institutional affiliation (if available), research interests.

Submission requirements:

We accept the following file formats: «doc», «rtf». Footnotes, literature and sources are documented at the end of the article in the sections: "Notes", "Literature", "Sources". Citations and references to authors are referred to in the text by giving the author’s surname, the year of publication and the page numbers if necessary, for example: (Durkheim 1912: 23) or (Geerz 1996). Full information on the book should be presented in the section "Literature" in which it is necessary to specify only the sources which are referred to in the text.
