The main purpose of this article is to review and analyse the economics of electronic trash, the special ways of monetisation, used by website owners; and cover the phenomena of native advertising as the most hidden under web-contet economic means of monetisation.

This article consists of four main parts: the macrophisics of electronic trash, the correlation of production off-cuts logic and electronic trash, the influence of electronic trash on the subject and methods of combating it.

Literature analysis shows the growing interest to the problem of electronic trash in the world and in the USA in particular. Contemporary American specialists in the field of digital media proclaim the necessity of further implementation of "Information technologies" discipline into the educational curricular, so that to study programming and not only MS Office package.

A thorough study of electronic trash in the empirical part of the article shows that electronic trash and Native Ad in particular solves several challenges of the website owner: the increase of the view depth and time spent on the web-site, the standard adverts income growth and traffic ride-down. That’s why digital media analytics forecast the rise of the number of the web-sites using Native Ad.

The author believes that the obtained results show the concealed economic prossesses in the cyberspace and motivate to study computer algorithms. This knowledge would help to shape a critical attitude to web-resources and combat the illusion of freedom of choice they are associated with.
