Abstract

[In Russian]

The article represents the analysis of a conceptual art practice
of butoh, the dance by Irina Anufrieva, performed in the framework of a project «Gender Route»: a festival of sex/gender ideas
(December, 2006). Butoh-dance is a unique phenomenon. It is neither exactly the theatre, nor exactly a dance. It is an original exploration of oneself and of the world through one’s own body that
is a mediator between the inner experience comprehensible only
for individual subjects and the outer one that is a subject to outer
perception.
