Abstract

The article is dedicated to the analysis of an aesthetic system of
differences between the representation of World War II in the Soviet cinema of Stalin’s time and the «Thaw» period. In the course
of the analysis it is revealed how cinema re-constructs the history
and simultaneously constructs the present.
