In the article, Jan Lukasiewicz’s worldview is analysed as one that led him to create multi-valued logic. !ere is also an attempt to explain why this logic lacks an ontological interpretation. !e unity of Brentano’s and Lukasiewicz’s positions is shown. !e author proposes to call both syllogistic by Brentano and three- valued logic by Lukasiewicz the two variants of apophatic logic.
