Abstract

[In Russian]

The article discusses the confrontation between two social worlds: the world of freedom and the world of domination. The author justifies the difference between these worlds through the reconstruction of the position of the personality, as well as the role of power and the state. In the rational world of freedom, the value of the individual determines the instrumental role of the state and the resolution of conflicts on the basis of universal moral and legal norms. In the irrational regressive world of domination, the individual is the object of manipulation of power, which is based on the principle of violence. From the standpoint of the difference between the two worlds, the article considers the Russian-Ukrainian war as an аssassination attempt of the world of domination on the world of freedom. This war is a clash of Russian power, using aggression for self-preservation and the spread of geopolitical influence, with the universalism of the values of  the free world. For the Ukrainian side, this is a “war against the world of war”.
