On the Political Struggle and Militant Speech (Six Notes)
Article
Abstract
[In Russian]
The paper examines the interconnection of such notions as ‘real politics’ and ‘the political’, ‘friend’ and ‘enemy’. In order to clarify the meaning of ‘the political’, the author turns to the modern theories of the legitimacy of political power. The author analyzes the notion of ‘political struggle’ in the context of the general idea of struggle. The problem of political consent is considered as opposed to the political struggle. Addressing the phenomenon of speech the author analyzes both the key features and contradictions of ‘militant speeches’. Analyzing the crisis of the Kantian ideal of “Perpetual peace”, the author discusses the most important aspects of modern wars: the merging of the war with terror, state terrorism, cyberwarfare.
