Abstract

[In Russian]

Contemporary IT world is moving to a new stage of the development. The information chaos of the 80s and the 90s was followed by a new process of unification. This trend is determined by a huge amount of ideas and innovations. One of the most influential inventions here is a new consumer digital service, which allows users to rent content, but not to own it. Personal computers slowly are turning into the portals to data-centers and personal files are no longer the center of subjects’ digital environment. Jean-François Lyotard once described the information future as a crossroad between open information banks and information terror. Since the ethics of postmodern has been introduced this issue evolved into the central dilemma of our age and nowadays universalization has radicalized it. There are new modes of production and consumption, which permeated with information and among other things force us to reshape the concepts of surveillance and individual autonomy.
