Abstract

[In Russian]

The article addresses the representation of sacrifice and
femininity in the films by A. Tarkovsky and such contemporary
Russian directors as A. Zvyagintsev, K. Serebrennikov, and A.
Mizgirev. The author develops the topic of sacrifice as the pivotal
theme of Tarkovsky’s works and then reveals its influence
on contemporary Russian filmmaking. This trend is qualified by
the author as a social symptom which is finally analyzed from the
perspective of J. Lacan’s structural psychoanalysis.
