Knowledge: Need of the Hysterical Subject

Abstract

The primary goal of this article is to consider speci"city of a
phenomenon of knowledge including scienti"c knowledge from
the psychoanalytic point of view. I examine four types discourse
of J. Lacan: Master, University, Hysteric and Analyst. !e special
attention is given to a hysterical discourse because it is constitutive
for that type of knowledge which it is possible to name
knowledge-enjoyment unlike know-how. !e status knowledgeenjoyment
is explicated at the reference to R. Rorty’s works dedicated
to epistemological problems of the social sciences.
